Today was the day..

Finally got to sign the loan paperwork today ... Initially there was some confusion over when our first payment was due, and for a few minutes there we thought we going to have to have docs re-drawn and go back another day, but luckily we got it all sorted out. That was the last step, and it should fund on Tueday next week!

Your poor Daddy is so tired today ... He's got people in his squad getting sick and injured all over the place. One of his guys has torn ligaments in his leg (he did it walking down a flight of stairs), so that leaves Dad and one other guy. The weather here was really bad last night, so they were running call to call. He didn't get home until 4.30am today, and only got a short nap as he had to be out the door to sign on the loan by 9.30am. He didn't even get the chance to go back to bed afterwards, as he had to be at work again early .. He left here at 1.20pm, and wont be home again until at least 4am tomorrow. At this stage he doesnt have to be back at work until 4pm tomorrow, so hopefully he'll get some sleep through the day.

Maddie is still battling the chicken spots ... Shes feeling almost normal again now, and doesnt understand why I won't let her go play with other kids. I'm still not certain that she's still not contaigous, so we'll leave it one more day to be sure. It feels like we've had a real run of it the last few weeks with at least one of your sisters being sick with something. Usually they NEVER get sick! Best to get it all over and done with in one big hit though ... We'll be back to normal again in no time.

It was nice to get everything signed today ..... Its one more thing taken care of, and one more step complete towards bringing you here. Now I want for March 12th to hurry up and get here so we can get this homestudy done.... Once that's all done, its up to India ... We'll be biting our fingernails waiting for a court date for guardianship. Here's hoping it stays moving nice and quickly!
