Today we got to go down and drop off all of the papers we've collected. It was great to catch up with Lisa and Becky again! Lisa is just as excited as we are to be bringing you here. Becky is going to come and do our homestudy next Wednesday at 10.30am. Tonight I have to write a bio ... (Dad will be doing the same thing while at work if its quiet enough), so she's got some more info before she comes. As it stands right now, we're still completely on target for June/July. I love to go down to the office and see all of the photo's of the kids on the wall there. There's this really cute one of Peter when he was little ...He's all big smiles! We bought one of the cookbooks that they're selling...Some really great international recipes in there for us all to try out. I'll do the easy looking ones, and leave the more challenging ones to Daddy...haha.
Dad got to go to the Title Co. yesterday and pick up the check. Due to the amount, it'll be five days before it clears, but thats no worries because we won't be spending any before then anyway. I believe its after the homestudy that we'll get to write the really BIG checks...
Lisa says we're going to need at least 5 business days in India ... They recommend flying in so we arrive Saturday night, and spend Sunday resting and getting over the flight .. Monday we get to come to the orphanage and meet you! Hopefully you'll like us enough that you'll want to leave with us that day ... Tuesday and Wednesday will be getting all of your immigration sorted .. .its a two day process! At least we'll have you with us for all of that ... Thursday and Friday are backup days in case anything should be delayed or go wrong, and then the weekend we can fly home again. Instead of just staying a week, we're going to stay around 10 -12 days .. That will give us all the chance to do some serious bonding (as well as sight-seeing and shopping), before coming home.
Well sweet boy ... I'm going to sign off now so I can go work on that bio ....
Love you bunches!
